The goal of this programme is to establish a neutral source to provide global certification and accreditation, and information about EPC-compliant vendors and products. This programme has been developed by the EPCglobal community for the EPCglobal community, to enable more efficient and effective implementation of EPC/RFID technologies.

What is the role of GS1 Romania?

GS1 Romania is the Romanian authority on global, cross sector supply chain standards and is actively involved in facilitating the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and the Electronic Product Code (EPC) within the supply chain using the EPCglobal Network.

GS1 Romania has been charged with bringing the EPCglobal Network to market in the Romania so that it may be implemented successfully in a commercial environment.
