The products quality at the national level and not only, is a great necessity in the business areas from the country and from the whole world. It is important for the understanding between the partners, because it uses a common obvious and unambiguous language, eliminating the diffrences between cultures and dialogue languages.
Willing to open the way to a global standard identification, GS1 Romania asked the designing of a wine catalogue , imposing a global classification scheme of the Global Register and it it didn’t imply in the local products classification. The classfication scheme with the specifications for classification using is done by GS1.
The ROMVINICOL catalogue was desired as the a first exercise for a connecting with the Global Register in order to prepare the market for the Global Classification of the products.
The ROMVINICOLcatalogue unifies the wine producers that provides Internet communication tools for on-line information transmissions . It provides a tool for showing the products in a window page for the recorded companies in the catalogue.
The access in the catalogue is a personal one and the information for the suppliers and the distributors are different.
The catalogue usage offers a lot of advantage both for the suppliers and the distributors by:
- the cost reduction for the data exchange
- the litigation reduction due to the lost of synchronizings
- the growth of the sell opportunities by a superior availability of the information
- the acquisition programme support at the distributors
- the fluency growth of the synchronized data

The placing of the catalogues on the network eliminates the necessity for the suppliers to notify all their products in the datashets of the customers and for the distributors to avoid the connection consequently to all their suppliers’catalogues
