Structure
The General Assembly of the Association is the supreme leading body, formed by the initial constituent companies and the later members. The General Assembly is the one that establishes the GS1 Romania?s goals, strategy and its operational plan.The General Assembly is convened at least once a year and it is also convened at the request of the Management Board or when at least 1/5 from the members number is requesting it .
The Management Board works on the strategy definition and it design the Association activity program.
The Management Board consists from 12 associated members, elected in the The Association General Assembly. The president of the General Border is the president of the Association.
The General Border consists from important people in the GS1 member companies and it is responsible for operational plan implementation and it decides in specific features regarding the strategic goals? achievement and it coordinates the technical committees action.
The Management Board meetings are held at least twice a year. The decisions are taken with the simple majority of the members that are present.
