Registering in GS1 Romania
Any commercial company in Romania, interested in using the GS1 encoding system, may become a member of the National Organization for Items, Services and Locations Numbering – GS1 Romania if it agrees to the Statute terms and the functioning and organizational rules.The registering procedure implies the deposition at the Association Head Office of a folder with the next documents:
- registration form:
- Registration form for small and medium enterprises (with annual turnover less than 100,000 Euro or companies set-up in 2012);
- Registration form for large enterprises (with annual turnover more than 100,000 Euro);
- Registration form for big manufacturing, import, distribution, retail companies and their branches / subsidiaries / agencies in Romania
- Registration form for publishing houses and audio/video labels;
- Registration form for individual enterprises, authorized persons, family associations;
- Registration form only for GLN (EDI) small, medium and large enterprises;
- Registration form only for GLN (EDI) big manufacturing, import, distribution, retail companies and their branches / subsidiaries / agencies in Romania.
- the constitutive act of the company and another documents regarding any changes in the company`s name, address and additions in the activity object (copy);
- the recording certificate issued by the National Trade Register Office (copy);
- the payment proof of the joining the GS1 System fee and the anually GS1 licence fee for 2012 (the amount of these fees are annually established by the General Assembly of the Organization);
- the last balance deposed at DGFPCFS (for companies with annual turnover less than 100,000 Euro).
After this formalities, the commercial company receives the international unique code and all the rights of using the GS1 codes for the products identification and the EDI-EANCOM communication standards. After the General Meeting confirmation the company will receive all the rights of a GS1 Romania associated member.
